Just use the app
Open Mupi like any other camera app. Nothing to set up, nothing locked down.
A big world. Their perspective.
Mupi gives a child a simple camera of their own, with a private photo library you can see from your phone. No feed, no ads, no way to wander off into the internet.
Their eyes. Your peace of mind.
How it works
Give an old iPhone to your child, set Mupi up once, and start seeing what they notice.
Put it on an old iPhone and give the camera a name. A few minutes, once.
One big button. No menus, no settings, nothing to get lost in.
Their photos turn up in your Mupi, backed up to your own iCloud.
Their world matters
A rock, a puddle, a tower photographed by leaning all the way back, the dog eleven times. What looks ordinary to you is the whole point to them.
Small things. Big stories.
Built for real life
One big shutter, a big viewfinder, and a button to turn it around. Nothing else.
Photos back up to your own iCloud. No Mupi account, no ads, nothing watching.
Hundreds of photos that do not land in your Apple Photos unless you put them there.
Several children, several old iPhones, one purchase. No charge per child.
Their library, not yours
A child with a camera takes a lot of pictures. In Mupi they live in their own library, not scattered through your Apple Photos.
You look through them when you want to, mark the ones you love, and save the keepers into Photos yourself.
More about the parent library →However locked down you want it
Open Mupi like any other camera app. Nothing to set up, nothing locked down.
Guided Access holds the iPhone in Mupi until you unlock it, using what iOS already has.
How to set that upAn old iPhone can be set up so Mupi is what the device does, the way a camera only takes photos.
How to set that upOne purchase
€14.99, once. Family Sharing where Apple allows it, as many children as you have, as many old iPhones as you can find in the drawer.
Their today. Your tomorrow.
What Mupi will never do
There is nothing to sell to a six-year-old, and nobody buying their attention.
Nothing in Mupi is designed to bring a child back to it. The point is the world, not the app.
Mupi has no server to send anything to. Photos are in your iCloud, and we cannot see them.
Ready when you are
Mupi is not on the App Store yet. If you want to know when it is, say so and you will be told once, by a person.
