Privacy
Mupi is a camera for children, so the shortest privacy policy is the right one.
What Mupi collects
Nothing. There is no Mupi account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Mupi has no server that your photos or your child's activity are sent to.
Where photos live
Photos are stored on the camera itself, and backed up to your own iCloud account using Apple's private storage for the app. They are held in your family's iCloud storage, under your Apple ID. We cannot see them, and neither can anyone else you have not shared them with.
Apple Photos
Mupi never writes to your Apple Photos library on its own. It asks for permission to add a photo only when you choose to save one.
The camera and microphone
Mupi asks for the camera because it is a camera. If a voice note is ever recorded with a photo, it is stored with that photo and goes nowhere else.
Children
Mupi is meant to be used by children. There is no chat, no feed, no profile, no way for anyone outside the family to see a photo, and nothing that measures how much a child uses it.
If you write to us
Support email is answered by a person and kept only as long as it takes to answer. It is not used for anything else.
Changes
If this ever changes, the change will be described here in the same plain language, before it takes effect.
